Green Knights Polar Bear Run is on for Saturday..Meet at the Post around 10:30am and ksu @ 11:15am. Ride is to O'Bryans in Lees Summit. This is the one off Greenwich Road (Right off 150 Hiway). Just finished posting some more of the pictures from our local Veterans Day Event. Thanks for everyone who helped out. Great job Alex for putting this event together! A special thanks to Lisa and the Channel 9 TV gang for getting the word out about us and for showing the pictures on the air! Congrats again to all the local WWII Veterans that made the event even more special!

Please meet at Post 131 by 7:00am...we will set flags at the Post, Veterans Home & a few Downtown. Then we can break for coffee & breakfast. We need to meet Lisa Teachman of KC Channel 9 news at 10:30am on Business Rt 50 West out by the Carlyle Parking Lot. Escort them to the Courthouse Downtown for service @ 11:00am. Lunch at the Post after the program. The normal Veterans Home Program was called off by them!! Flu problems at the Veterans Home! We can pickup flags after the Lunch or later that afternoon. Our next ALR meeting is at 9:00am on Nov. 7th (Saturday). We also will be helping out the Legion AUX with Poppy Sales on Saturday...Bikes with Big Flags the order of the day. You might want to come by early to lend a hand to the AUX before our meeting.
